The unobtrusively designed "white cube" by the architectural office Morger Dettli Architekten provides an appropriate setting for the collection's outstanding exhibits: the illustrious circle of artists represented in the first-class collection range from Georges Seurat and Paul Gauguin to Gunther Uecker and Imi Knoebel. Based on choice individual works, the volume graphically demonstrates the groundbreaking currents of twentieth-century art history-from Post-Impressionism and classic modern works to concrete art.The representative publication includes concise texts that expound on the art-historical rank of the individual precious items as well as large-format full-view and detail illustrations.
