On Course 2 Teachers'Book

"On Course" is a two-level speaking and listening course for adults and young adults who are beginning their study of English. Both levels follow a carefully sequenced grammatical syllabus and integrate communication functions throughout. Topics include introductions, occupations, shopping, transportation, restaurants and everyday situations. This teacher's text gives advice on preparing the 30 two-page student units, each of which has been designed as a lesson that can be accomplished in 50 minutes. There are also pair-practice and information gap activities that provide opportunities for student interaction. The summary units recombine and reinforce material that has been presented.
