Fast Forward Short Course Editions are suitable for adult students of English attending courses of 30-40 teaching hours. Throughout Fast Forward the material is sophisticated enough to appeal to the adult mind, even when the language level is quite basic.
Fast Forward 1A and 1B are at elementary level. They each contain ten units of which every fifth is a ‘rest and revision’ unit. The grammatical and functional syllabus is presented through short dialogues and texts, and there are many communicative activities, games, role-plays, and projects which develop speaking and listening skills.
At the back of each book, a set of Resource Units provide self-access summaries of the grammar and communicative functions relating to the classwork, along with grammar and writing exercises that can be done in the students’ own time.
