Business Assigments is a set of eight international case studies with video for advanced learners of Business English. In each case extensive input material builds a realistic and motivating business problem, culminating in a challenging and authentic simulation, or assignment. Business Assigments covers numerous key areas of business language, including presentations, negotiations, management meetings, and technical briefings as well as informal socializing.
The input for each case is supplied by the video and audio components and by the documents in the Information File. A companion volume of Deskwork offers the language activities that will enable participants to access the input material and to prepare each assignment effectively.
These Teacher's Notes provide:
- a general Introduction to the business content of Business Assignments, and to the classroom techniques suitable for its use
- a set of Management Notes for each case, setting out the main points at issue and possible solutions
- a set of Classroom Notes for each case, offering guidance on the use of Deskwork activities
- full answers for all activities, including photocopiable model letters
